I went for my Sunday morning run today after a long long time – lol don’t look at me like that, am not lazy just been really busy lately . As I completed my hour of running around trying hard to hide my exhaustion and trying not to cut a sweat I headed back home. I could swear by the time I got to the door my legs were about 10 feet behind me – hahaha I think am still fit .

That reminded me of an advertisement I saw on TV in my young days, and that’s not a long time ago I’ll have you know . The ad was for bottled water called Perrier, anyone remembers that? Where this guy was crawling across the desert uttering “Perrier” “Perrier” over and over again! Never mind the guy, whatever happened to Perrier? Do you still get in your part of the world? haven’t seen in my local supermarket or heard of it for a long time.

I have noticed a lot of similarity with the online marketing business – A product launch is announced, there is a frenzy of marketers and gurus promoting it sweetened with huge bonuses. The big day comes and there is a mad rush to buy one, the server crashes, the offer is extended and a few hundred emails reading “Last chance – doors closing soon” later it all goes quiet!

Now no one is talking about it and no one is promoting it and those who bought the product are no where to be heard from. Yet another one time wonder I guess? Mind you not all products are like that – some are very good and the talk of them go on for months and months sometimes years – like Mike Filsaime’s Butterfly Marketing (BM) which was launched in 2006 and even before he announced his MB2.0 people were still talking about it.

I have purchased a number of products I must admit and the vast majority, say about 90% of them I am not at all chuffed about to even mention them here – But MB2.0 is one product I’m proud of owning and will cherish it for many many years to come . You ever fell foul of the “One time wonder” products? What’s your thoughts on this subject matter?
