The Four Best Ways to Make Money on the Internet
For those who spend umpteenth hours online building websites and blogs the ultimate end results would be to make money out of it. The problem arise when you are bombarded with 1001 ways to make money online, you become an “Information overload” victim, you loose focus and eventualy give up.
It doesnt have to be that way you know. I have always maintained and contunue to say so “Start low and build up – follow set stratergies and rules” and the dough shall be yours for the taking. Here’s my take on some of the best ways you could use to make money online. Don’t worry, its not a list of 101 out of the 1001, just 4 for now 
- Information marketing. This is my absolute favorite. Creating your own information product such as an ebook or ecourse will allow you to make large sums of money in the shortest amount of time possible. Once you have created your product you can sell it again and again for years to come. The best part is the profit margins are close to 100%, and you don’t have to worry about any inventory or shipping costs. Your autoresponder and credit card processing service will take care of everything for you. I suggest every serious Internet marketer have at least one information product being sold at all times.
- Affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing allows you to start an Internet business without having any products or services of your own. Instead, you promote other company’s products and services. This is great to do while your own information product is being created. Being part of affiliate programs can supplement any product or service you are already selling, so if you are not affiliate marketing you are literally leaving money on the table.It provides instant profits, especially if you choose to promote a popular product. Take your time when choosing companies to promote. Commission percentages range drastically. One company may offer a 5% commission per sale, while another company may offer 75%.
- Google Adsense. Adsense is a program that places Google text ads on your site. You are paid each time the ads are clicked by your visitors. The more traffic your site gets, the more money you will make. I suggest that everybody use Adsense to boost profits. There are certain tactics you need to use when working with Adsense. I suggest doing a bit of research on Adsense if you want to receive to most profit possible.
- Joint ventures. Joint ventures are a fantastic way to make large sums of money in the shortest possible time. I find that joint ventures work best when dealing with information products. Of course, you can do joint ventures with any product you may offer. This tactic simply involves partnering with key sites that have much more traffic than your own. They will likely have a large opt-in mailing list. All you have to do is approach these top-ranking sites that relate to your topic and make a proposal. I find that splitting all profits equally works well. The more generous your offer, the more people will want to partner up with you.Imagine the power of doing a joint venture with a site that has an opt-in mailing list of fifty thousand subscribers. All they have to do is send out a message to their list, including a recommendation of your product and a link to your site. If your site’s ad copy is good and the product you offer is high quality, you will make massive amounts of sales.
Any one of the four methods above has the potential to make you huge sums of money. However, they require that you put in an adequate amount of effort and possess the necessary knowledge.

Very informative but the key to any of them is advertising and marketing. Without learning how to get targeted traffic to your ebook, affiliate product, web site where you have your adsense ads located, or the product your promoting with the JV, it’s all moot. So you make a great point about acquiring the necessary knowledge to make an online business successful. I find that the first 3 ways (information marketing, affiliate marketing, and Google Adsense) work well for “newbies”, but joint ventures are harder to get into until you have a decent-sized list of your own. Very few marketers will JV with someone or has a tiny (or no) list, because it allows you to leverage on their list, but there is not the same strength in return. Even so, a few marketers will do it, primarily as a courtesy to help a new marketer get started; they remember when they were in the same situation.
