10 Simple Tips On Optimizing Your Home Business

I’m gonna share with you 10 simple tips on how to optimize your home business. These tips are very simple, yet they can set the pace for your business in the long run.
First of all if you operate an offline business and you don’t yet have an online presence, its time you did. And blogging has to be one of the easiest way to set up an online identity for your business. Wordpress is free to download and use, domain names and hosting costs are very low in comparison to say 5/10 years ago – so what’s holding you back?
10 Optimization Tips
1.   Always test and tweak your pages. It could be your follow up emails, squeeze pages, a blog or even the headline on your sales letter/article. These small tweaks will help you even if you are totally new in your business because if you can earn an extra 2 dollars when you have only 50 visitors, what happens when one day you reach 500 or even 5,000? What about 50,000! That’s thousands of dollars!
2.   Learn to spend some time finding the right people to outsource to. A good way is to go on www.getafreelancer.com and see who has the best ratings. Remember, it is always worthwhile to pay big for quality products.
3.   Learn to build relationships online. It is better to talk to one or two people who can build results that spending too much time checking your commissions.
4.   Learn to mastermind with likeminded people (e.g. other Fusionites) You have no idea how good businesses can turn out in the future.
5.   Focus on the 80/20 rule. You will be more productive rather than simply ‘busy’ because 20% of your actions SHOULD bring 80% of the results, not the other way.
6.   Always be kind to anyone you meet online – karma works itself in many ways. E.g. if you always ask for refunds on products, don’t be surprised if your refund rate is super high when you sell your own things. Always be cordial to people and people will be nice to you.
7.   Always focus on the best traffic generation method that works for YOU. There are so many ways to do it online, don’t do everything by yourself – if you want to try, you might as well outsource it because efforts are better when you focus all your strength on one.
8.   When you don’t see results, don’t give up. It might take awhile for traffic to come in – Rome wasn’t built in a day after all, neither is a business.
9.   Invest, invest, INVEST! This is one of the biggest breakthroughs in my business because if you are willing to invest in yourself, you will gain a hundred times more!
10. Be grateful for the opportunity to build a business online. This is one of the best ways to expand your home business without leaving your house. By being grateful, you will be able to attract good energy and you will enjoy your work more and be more productive.

These are excellent tips. We are currently utilizing Google Adwords, and I have to say it has definitely generated many leads/conversions for us. You are right Gail being on the first page is key! A few other websites we are utilizing are MSN and business.com. Just some other things to consider.

if you can earn more bucks from home then doing a part time job which is really difficult, then i don’t think so that it is a bad idea.thanks for sharing these tremendous tips.

Invest, invest, invest is an interesting one. I wouldn’t say it is about how much you invest, it’s about what you invest in. Investing a lot in the right things is going to work, but it has to be done intelligently.
Home business includes lots of things like article marketing, freelancing, and SEO technique. So to establish a home based business we need a better knowledge of a particular field. Keep it up and keep sharing.

i think its true what rony said.you need a website or blog first and then you will have to apply seo technique for getting traffic and to promote your business.

Your time is worth money and the education required to success will also cost you money. You are also going to need something to give away to build your list plus a product to sell as part ofmonetization.
As you grow you will need to consider outsourcing some tasks like traffic generation, article marketing and re-designing of your site. In general terms “Invest”encompasses all these and some more depending on how big or small your budget is – these are the basic investments required initially, then there will come a time when you need to scale up and take your business to the next level.
So yes, invest, invest and invest some more but do it wisely!

Just about any business you start is going to take a ton of work and dedication. But I know a guy in our small community who basically owns the market on cabinet making. People come from the big city to the small town for his cabinets.
